Brandon Florida: A historical retrospective of Brandon, Florida The story of Brandon and the surrounding area is told through photographs and narrative spanning the mid-1800s to early 1980s. Interesting historical information about the early pioneers who established homesteads, farms, and family stores to build a thriving community will be shared. Presented by Michael Wigh, a local historian and author of the pictorial book Brandon, Florida Images in Time. He is a Brandon native and a proud graduate of Brandon High School. He is the Brandon High School Alumni Association Historian and works as a historic docent.

Our February 13th meeting will be presented by Selena Martinez. We meet at the Bloomingdale Library at 1pm. The topic is Don’t Shake It Like a Polaroid Picture: How to Preserve and Digitize Your Photographs Properly. Photography has changed over the years. Learn how to digitize and preserve all the various formats your memories have taken, from album prints to polaroid pictures.

Our January 9th meeting was held at the Bloomingdale Regional Library in the McLean Family Community Room at 1pm.
